More than 60 Players from our academy have played in B.C.C.I trophies in Under-14, 16, 19, 22 & Ranji Trophy in the last 17 years for U.P Indian Railways, Tripura, Assam, Bihar, Sikkim, Meghalaya, Haryana & Jharkhand.
Akshdeep Nath, who has been trained in our academy, has been selected in ROYAL CHALLENGERS BANGALORE in the prestigious INDIAN PREMIER LEAGUE for 3.60 crores for this year . Earlier,he was the Vice-Captain of India’s under 19 team for the 2012-2013 season. He has also been selected for India 'A' team in 2018-2019. Besides these achievements, he is currently captain of U.P’s Ranji Trophy team for the 2018-2019 season, adding another feather to his cap.
Mohsin Siddiqui of our academy had been selected for Kings XI Punjab team in the IPL Trophy for 2012-2013. ASCA is the only Academy in U.P which has the facility of World Class Bowling Machine with 21 variations for speed & spin. We also have imported Crazy Catch Gadget, Australian Catchet Gadget and Side Arm Ball Thrower.
The academy has conducted two International Cricket Camps in which coaches from Sri Lanka were invited. The academy has two stadiums for training in Lucknow. There are 9 cemented wickets and 9 turf wickets. There is a semi covered area for Bowling Machine drills. The academy gives Annual Scholarship to two prominent players each year. Besides these, the academy has hostel facility for players coming from other cities and states. Boys from Delhi, Punjab, Uttarakhand and throughout Uttar Pradesh are taking training in the academy.
The academy has a top class training system. We invite professional fitness experts and counselors to guide players from time to time. The academy has participated in many International Tournaments in Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Bangladesh & Nepal. Many players of the academy are also playing in professional leagues in Zimbabwe, Canada, Malaysia & Sri Lanka. Boys and girls from ages 6 to 19 can take admission in the academy.
The academy also organizes many All India Cricket Tournaments for Under-12, 14, 16 age groups. The academy participates in many All India Tournaments and has also been the winner of many tournaments. Our academy has the facility of World Class Technology for cricket which is adopted by Cricket Boards of many Countries of I.C.C . Through this technology, the players will be filmed through ultra modern slow motion method so that players can themselves see the smallest mistake they make in their techniques. This technique will benefit the coach as well as the player. Our academy is one of the few centres to adopt this technology in India.
The Academy also gives Annual Scholarship of Rs.8,000/- to the most outstanding player of the year. So far 18 players have received the scholarship.
The Academy also has Hostel facility for outstation players. It also has a tie-up with C.B.S.E. English Medium School for Education for boys and girls from class-I to class-XII.
The Academy also has transport facility for local players
The timing for training on all working days is from 3:00 to 6:30 p.m. and on some Sundays and public holidays players are called in the morning for practice matches or expert coaching classes. Some batches will also called for training in the morning only.
The basic aim of our Academy is to nurture young cricketers in a clean, healthy and disciplined atmosphere. The Academy specifically works hard on physical fitness, mental awareness, basic techniques and all the other important aspects of the same.
